Sensor Calibration

A sensor calibration team will be set up, particulary for calibrating SensorScope sensors.

The calibration team will consist of two parts:

• EAWAG will be responsible for calibrating ground/water based sensors
• SLF will be responsible for calibrating meteorological sensors

Meteorological sensors

The main tool for calibration of these sensors will be calibration in the SLF wind tunnel, where hotwires are currently used, calibrated using a fan based device. Several of the meteorological parameters are available as standard parameters from the wind tunnel.
