2010/05/21: SLF team presentation

This afternoon I gave a short presentation to the SLF snow cover and micrometeorology team in Davos, introducing the major themes of SwissEx Science. By themes, I mean things like

• using the SwissEx infrastructure of sensors and web presence
• developing web tools for collaboration and monitoring, like the Main:Blogs and projectmanagement
• investigating alternatives to time-resolved mountain weather simulations
• making results and methods accesible through web interfaces

I've put some more formal information up at Science:home and will be fleshing that over the next few days.
