The WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research (SLF), Davos is a part of the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL) and belongs to the ETH domain. Its responsibilities are research and provision of services in snow, natural hazards and mountain ecosystems.

SLF and WSL have a large involvement in many of the projects listed on the left and are one of the main driving forces behind the Swiss Experiment infrastructure supporting these projects. In addition to storing data from the projects listed, SLF is making use of the infrastructure to store and provide access to other measurements located across Switzerland.
