Metadata Schema

The Swissex project, provides users with an additional capability to get the metadata from a selected "Namespace" for a specific or All templates.

Interface

Export Metadata Interface

Open the interface of the bulk loading and then follow the steps :

• Enter your LDAP credentials (i.e., Username and Password )
• Select the template and namespace
• Submit the completely filled form.

Output

• Once you click on Submit, you will be redirected to the links of the metadata files.
• You need to right click on the link and select "Save Link As.." and then store it on your machine to a text editor (for e.g. ".txt" file)

Exporting the Metadata to an Excel File

Follow the steps below to export the contents from text file to an excel spread sheet.

• copy all the contents of the text file (ctrl+A and then ctrl+C)
• open a new excel sheet
• paste the contents (Ctrl+V)
• Notice that as soon as you paste, you can view a Paste options wizard on the screen.
• In that, select "use Text Import wizard"
• Step 1: You will see a window like this

• Step 2: Select Delimited and click on Next. You will see

• Unselect all the check boxes and select "other" and in the next text entry, type "|" (pipe symbol). And then click "Finish" button.
• You will have all the metadata in the excel sheet.
